UAN Portal Registration & Activation 2024
If you are an employee contributing to the EPFO, it is important to register for your Universal Account Number (UAN). Here’s how to do it:
- Visit the Portal: Go to the EPFO’s Unified Member Portal at EPFO Member Portal.
- Select UAN: On the homepage, find the option to create a UAN number.
- Enter Details: Provide the necessary details like your Universal Account Number (UAN), Member ID (available on your salary slip or from your employer), registered mobile number, and captcha code.
- OTP Verification: After entering the details, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP to verify and activate your UAN.
- Create Password: Create a strong password for your UAN login.
- Completion: After creating a password, your UAN activation process is complete. You can now log in to your account to check PF details.

To log in to your UAN account after registration:
- Visit UAN Portal: Go to EPFO Member Portal.
- Enter UAN & Password: On the homepage, enter your registered UAN number and password.
- Captcha Verification: Complete the captcha verification.
- Sign In: Click the “Sign In” button to access your UAN dashboard.
- Dashboard: Once logged in, you can check your PF balance, download the PF passbook, update KYC details, and access other PF-related services.
UAN Status Check 2024
To check the status of your UAN:
- Visit UAN Portal: Go to the EPFO Member Portal.
- UAN Status: Navigate to the “UAN Status” section under the “Services” or “Dashboard” menu.
- Enter Details: Provide your Universal Account Number (UAN), Member ID, and registered mobile number.
- Submit: Click on the “Submit” or “Check Status” button.

How to Find Your UAN
